Pfinder Cleaner

PFINDER 890 is a special cleaner based on isopropanol / acetone for penetrant and magnetic particle testing. PFINDER 890 is used as precleaner for removal of oils and greases from the surface to be tested, as approved remover of PFINDER penetrants or as remover of PFINDER contrast paint. PFINDER 890 is particulary suitable for general cleaning and removal of oils and greases (e.g. for plastics material compartibibility is to be checked beforehand). Remover method C according EN 571-1. Product benefits: Powerful, all-purpose cleaner.

PFINDER 871 is a solvent-based wet developer for colour contrast penetrant testing. PFINDER 871 is qualified for penetrant testing at temperatures between -20°C to +70°C (temperature of work part) accoring to EN ISO 3452-5 and EN ISO 3452-6. Developer form d + e according EN 571-1. Product benefits: Very good developing properties. Quick-drying. Low consumption due to high opacity. Easily removable with water.

Red Colour Contrast Penetrant Consumables

PFINDER 860 is a direct water-washable colour contrast penetrant (red) of the sensitivity level 2 for crack detection of surfaces. Due to its user-friendly rinsability PFINDER 860 provides low residual back-ground even on rough metal surfaces. PFINDER 860 is qualified for penetrant testing at temperatures between -20°C to +100°C (temperature of work part) accoring to EN ISO 3452-5 and EN ISO 3452-6. Penetrant type II according EN 571-1. Product benefits: Bright, sharp indications with high contrast. Easy rinsability = low residual background. Reduced consumption due to low viscosity.

Fluorescent Penetrant Consumables

PFINDER 901 is a hydrocarbon free, readily biodegradable, direct water-washable fluorescent penetrant of the sensitivity level 2 for crack detection of surfaces. PFINDER 901 is qualified for penetrant testing at temperatures between -20°C to +100°C (temperature of work part) accoring to EN ISO 3452-5 and EN ISO 3452-6. Penetrant type I according EN 571-1. Product benefits: Readily biodegradable. Process water of rinsing step can be drained directly into sewage without pre-treatment (after approval of authorities). Free of aromatics and hydrocarbons. Reduced consumption due to low viscosity. Bright, sharp indications with high contrast.
