Penetrant Test Stands

A Penetrant Test Stand is a piece of equipment used in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) to apply a penetrant solution to a surface to be inspected. Penetrant Benches consist of a tank containing the penetrant solution as standard and a system for applying the solution to the part to be inspected. The Penetrant Bench creates a safe environment by providing a controlled environment for solution application and effectively removing excess solution. In this way, it is considered an important part of the FPI process.
